Smart Exposure technology rapidly determines optimal exposure time, which helps minimize the potential for over- or underexposed images.
Software: Invitrogen™ Smart Exposure™ technology
Software: Exposure Dial
If you want to set exposure manually, fine-tune the exposure time using the dial, the + and – symbols, or the numerical keypad. Default and custom exposure routines are available to replicate an exposure routine similar to film acquisition, along with signal accumulation mode.
Software: Auto-Analysis
iBright Imaging Systems feature on-board automatic data analysis, which allows for rapid lane and band identification and molecular weight marker overlay—greatly simplifying and streamlining quantitation, densitometry, and normalization workflows.

Needs video or images?
With the five fluorescence channels of the iBright FL1500 Imaging System, one can image with many different fluorophore options. Up to 4-channel multiplexing is possible, utilizing fluorophores in both the visible (RGB) fluorescent range and the near-infrared (near-IR) range.
The high-resolution camera is combined with software that automatically determines if the sample requires zoom in order to maximally utilize the field of view. If imaging a single blot, the camera will physically move towards the sample (up to 2x zoom). Additionally, up to 4x digital zoom is available, for a combined zoom of up to 8x. Focus is automatically adjusted for each zoom level, providing crystal-clear images.
The iBright FL1500 Imaging System uses a high-resolution, high-sensitivity 9.1 megapixel cooled CCD camera.
